UNIT 1. Activity 3. “Great man” theories

           Activity 3. “Great man” theories

•Can you think of other leaders of the past and today who could fit that theory?
I think one of the other leaders from the past and today who could fit that theory is for example Matin Luther king Jr because he was a visionary, and in my opinion he was born to lead and guide.
Also Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela who lead a people, and although I am not sure if they born to lead I am pretty sure that they were visionaries and they had a charismatic leadership.

•Do you agree with that theory? Why?
I agree with these theory up to a point, because I think there are many leaders that born to lead and they have that leader attitude innate, also one of the main attitude in a leader is to be a visionary, when no one see what you are seeing, you still see the future on it.
But I don’t agree 100 % with the statement of the theory which says that the leader "BORN TO LEAD WITH INNATE QUALITIES", or I think, not always or not only can be like that, I think that a situation can create a leader. For example in a natural disaster with everyone traumatized maybe someone unknown could evolve and become a leader for the situation.

•What limitations/implications can you find in that theory?
This Theory in my opinion is a little limited I think is to close, making reference on the comments I made in the last paragraph.
